Kathy Boudin (living as Lynn Adams) had been living near Columbia University in a 6-story three-bedroom co-op at 50 Morningside Drive (NYC) with a single mom named Rita Jenson (35) and her two daughters (12 and 15) since at least 1978 or 1979 (Kathy's son Chesa was born August 21, 1981, and a Dr. Alan Berkman - later arrested for contempt of court - who worked in an out-patient clinic at Lincoln Hospital, may have helped with the Chesa's birth.) - (Bernardine Dohrn's second son Malik Cochise Dohrn also born 1980 before surrendering).

Rita Jenson was an investigative reporter for the The Advocate of Stamford, Connecticut and the Manhattan apartment was purchased about 1978 by the reporter's former husband (Steven Stollmack), who said he visited the two women on several occasions.

At the time of the Brinks robbery, Kathy had been collecting $177.75 in welfare checks by mail every two weeks - and she sometimes worked at the children's free school at west 113th street. 

Her boyfriend (and later husband, David Gilbert) had lived separately in Washington Heights in a room that was rented from an elderly man for $109.00 a month, but the neighbors knew him as Lou Grossman (Kathy and their son often visited him here). David had been working in the Upper Westside of NYC as a mover under the name of Lou Wasser.

*Prior to NYC, Kathy Boudin and David Gilbert both were living in Boston.

After Kathy and David were arrested

Chesa was still at his babysitter's apartment; his planned pick-up time was almost precisely the moment when his parents were apprehended. Nine hours later, at around 2 a.m., Kathy was allowed to make a phone call from jail. She rang the home of William Kunstler, the radical lawyer, not the home of Ana Vasquez, the babysitter. Kathy had not forgotten about her son; the next day she finally reached Kunstler, who then called Kathy's father, and, together with their wives, they immediately drove to Nyack. Meeting them in her cell, Kathy asked them to pick up Chesa. It was now almost two full days after the bloody events. We do not know from Susan Braudy's terse, tough-minded, honest, and thoroughly absorbing book when and how Ana Vasquez was relieved of her charge. But we do know that Kathy's parents, understanding that their daughter was likely to be behind bars for some time, considered themselves too old to adopt her child. "We'd never heard of Pampers," Kathy's mother said. "We didn't know how to undo the stickum. The baby was crying." Kathy's fellow revolutionaries Bernardine Dohrn and Bill Ayers decided to adopt Chesa on the spot. Kathy, to her dismay, learned that as a prisoner she had no right to see Chesa, and it was not until January 1983, when he would have been twenty-nine months old, that Kathy, recently transferred to a new prison, was finally allowed to touch her baby.

Rita Jensen said she lived with "Lynn Adams" (Kathy Boudin) for several years without suspecting a thing. "I couldn't believe it," she said in an interview in her newspaper, the Stamford (Conn.) Advocate. "A gun in our house would be intolerable. " Despite her disclaimer, some were skeptical, including present and former newspaper colleagues. "Rita was so intelligent . . . there is no way she wouldn't have known who Boudin was," said a reporter for the Paterson (N. J.) News, where Jensen had worked earlier. The reporter also recalled Jensen once saying she would be spending Thanksgiving "with my roommate, Kathy," but no one else besides NEWSWEEK questioned or reported such an incident. Her own newspaper's doubts about her story were clear in the lead paragraph of an article published the day after her interview; it said that Jensen had known "Lynn Adams" for seven or eight years, a report Jensen then denied. One other intriguing name has arisen in relation to Rita Jensen: several Paterson colleagues report that on her desk she kept some sort of picture or poster of Joanne Chesimard of the BLA.

-1980 -1981 (Sept 80 to June 81) - While still at Oxy during sophomore year, Obama joined an antiapartheid campaign to get Occidental College to divest from companies that did business in white-ruled South Africa. Gave speech to SDS sponsored rally. (Bill Ayers was in the SDS before co-founding the Weatherman Group).
-1980 - Kathy Boudin began associating with the Black Liberation Army - an offshoot of the Black Panther Party.
-1980 - Feb - Bernardine Dohrn leaves "Broadway Baby" after only 5 months (not employed for $, just for IDs)
-1980 - Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn's 2nd child (Malik Cochise Ayers) was born (named after Malcolm X)

-1981 (to 1985) - Obama live in a 6-floor- walk-up at 339 East 94th Street # 6A, NYC (Upper East side).
-1981 (Oct 20) - Brinks robbery - Boudin leaves Chesa with "babysitter" before doing Brinks job. (8 months after Bernardine Dohrn left work at "Broadway Baby".) Law-enforcement officials believe Dohrn was in contact with Boudin during this time.
-1981 (Sept 26) - Anti-Apartheid protesters in New York at John F. Kennedy Airport (by "May 19 Coalition", splinter group Weather Underground / SDS).
-1982 - (May) -Bernardine Dohrn has to serve 7 months in a NYC federal jail for refusing to testify before a grand jury investigating the earlier mentioned Brinks robbery of 1981, in which two policemen and a security guard were killed. Miss Dohrn was cited for contempt and jailed on May 19, 1982 rather than testify and provide a hand writing sample to a grand jury. 
-1982 - (Dec) -She and Bill Ayers married during a furlough, and she was released early after a Christmas furlough on December 23, 1982. (Who was watching their 2 kids?

My Notes - Things to Consider

1988 - The last KNOWN brinks robber is caught in LA - *Mutulu Shakur is namesake of Ayers and Dohrn's 1st born child named Zayd. Shakur's projected release date is Feb 10, 2016)

Stolen customer IDs from "Broadway Baby" were later used to rent a U-Haul truck that was involved in the 1981 Brinks robbery murders and other crimes as well:

The New York Times reported that stolen IDs from "Broadway Baby" were used for renting vans used in an aborted armored-car holdup in Greenburgh, N.Y, and also in a successful $500,000 armored-car heist in Inwood. - The FBI declined to comment on the Times report.


As the manager of "Broadway Baby", Bill Ayers' partner, Bernardine Dohrn, was suspected of obtaining many stolen customer IDs, and one was later used to rent a U-Haul truck that was involved in the 1981 Brinks robbery murders. In the subsequent investigation Dohrn had refused to give handwriting samples, supply testimony, identify others, or to cooperate in any way with investigators. - so she later went to jail for 7 months for "contempt of court.")

The October 20, 1981 the Brinks robbery began with Dohrn's very good friend Kathy Boudin. First Kathy (38 years old) dropped off her infant son (Chesa Boudin, 24-months-old) with an *UNKNOWN babysitter in the morning before going with her boyfriend, David J. Gilbert (37 years old, to pick up one of the getaway vehicles - a U-Haul truck that David had rented earlier that day in the Bronx NYC. Kathy and David had been members of "the May 19 Communist Organization", the off-shoot of the now defunct Weathermen Underground., of which they were also previously members. David had been a long time member of the Weather Underground and a fugitive from the state of Colorado where he faced charges of assault and possession of explosives. Kathy had been on the run from the law for 11 years since the * NYC Greenwich townhouse explosion in 1970.

*Could Bernardine Dohrn (Bill Ayers wife and Kathy Boudin's best friend) have been the UNKNOWN babysitter? After all, Kathy had trusted Dohrn enough to let her and Bill Ayers raise her 4-year-old son when she had later been sent to prison.

Questions Regarding Ayers and Dohrn's connection to Kathy Boudin's baby (Chesa Boudin - born August 21, 1980)

-What did Kathy Boudin say to the babysitter when she dropped Chesa off
-Did Kathy Boudin give babysitter instructions if Kathy didn't return?
-Did the babysitter know where to take baby?
-Did someone pick up baby, and if so, did the babysitter know who was coming?
-Did the babysitter turn baby over to authorities?
-Did the babysitter know Bill Ayers, or any other person who knew Bill?
-When did Bill Ayers first get Kathy Boudin's baby and how?
-When did Bill Ayers (and Bernardine Dohrn) first get actual physical (and later legal) custody of baby?
-How could authorities (Child Welfare and the Courts) allow this to happen (and later, a legal adoption), given Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn's criminal past and connections with terrorist organizations?

It does not seem possible that Kathy Boudin MUST HAVE had a plan for her baby just in the case she got caught.

*As an aside (to be debunked if possible) - I read elsewhere that before Obama was elected to the President and his family moved to the White House, neighbors of Bill Ayers and Barack Obama in Hyde Park have claimed that they "personally knew" that Ayers and Dohrn have babysat the Obama kids - - - Ayers (child educator) and Dohrn (mother of two and stepmother to one): "The Babysitters" 

How "babysitting" can be connected to Obama's relationships to Palestinian activists and Bill Ayers at Columbia University and University of Chicago

Neighbors in Hyde Park also claim that the Obamas would babysit the *Khalidi's kids (Hyde Park is the epicenter for Chicago's more "radical" and Social Progressive residents - Louis Farrakhan (Leader of the Nation of Islam who called Obama "the Messiah), *Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn (Weathermen Underground), Quentin Young (the doctor that's best known single-payer healthcare), Valerie Jarrett's parents, *Rashid Khalidi, the Obamas, etc...(There was a Synagogue "KAM Isaiah Israel" (some thought to be a Mosque) directly across the street from Obama's house in Hyde Park) now Rev. Jesse Jackson's "Operation PUSH" at 930 East 50th Street,
Chicago, IL 60615-2702 (Rainbow Push Coalition).


*Rashid Ismail Khalidi (Arabic: born 1948 in New York) Is a "Palestinian-American historian of the Middle East" is considered the *"Edward Said" Professor of Modern Arab Studies at *Columbia University and director of the Middle East Institute of Columbia's School of International and Public Affairs. Khalidi spent two years (Sept 1985 to June1987) teaching at Columbia University before joining the faculty of the *University of Chicago in Sept 1987 where he spent eight years as a professor (until 1994). *Bill Ayers was at the University of Chicago as a assistant professor also starting in Sept 1987( to the present). *Khalidi lectured at the University of Chicago until 2003 while *Obama taught law there from 1993 until his election to the Senate in 2004. Khalidi in 2000 held fundraiser for Obama's failed bid for a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives.

*Bill Ayers - While in NYC he earned 2 degrees at while at *Columbia University: an M.Ed from Teachers College, Columbia University in Early Childhood Education, and an Ed. D from Teachers College, Columbia University in Curriculum and Instruction.

*Edward Wadie Saïd (Arabic: born 1 November 1935 - died 25 September 2003) A former PLO operative and Arafat Advisor, was a "Palestinian-American" advocate for Palestinian rights. He was a professor of English and Comparative Literature at* Columbia University - described as the Palestinians' most powerful political voice.

1963 to 1992 - *Edward Saïd joined *Columbia University in 1963. In 1977, "Ed Said" became the a parr Professor of English and Comparative Literature at Columbia and subsequently became the Old Dominion Foundation Professor in the Humanities. In 1992, he attained the rank of University Professor.

2003 - Obama attended a farewell dinner for *Khalidi when he left the University of Chicago - some say that's evidence that *Obama would not maintain a pro-Israel foreign policy (later as President in 2009, Obama is again suspected of this).
