Re: Americans

Dear Mister President,

Americans know who you are. As our President (and as an avowed Marxist most of your adult life - since your days at Occidental College and Columbia University) you have attempted to "share the wealth" by first destroying the U.S. economy with an unsustainable deficit and with multiple entitlement programs; and then by raising our taxes, manipulating the financial markets, nationalizing private businesses, controlling the media, and deciding governmental and judicial policies like a dictator. Marxism defined is the political philosophy and economic worldview based upon a materialist interpretation of history, a Marxist analysis of capitalism, a theory of social change, and an atheist view of human liberation derived from the work of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. You have been implementing a typical Marxist strategy, and every decision you've made since becoming our President clearly bears this out. Though the American people have thusfar been somewhat reluctant to say this out loud, they soon will.

Americans are not Marxists. Your socialistic approach to govern our country is contrary America's values and the people's will. The citizens of this country only voted for "change" (the elimination of corruption in government and a better economy), not a massive tilt of this country's political system to socialism. To completely break down our economy, just to "level the playing ground", was NOT what the American people had in mind when they voted you into office. Since you took your Presidential oath, as the privileged caretaker of this country, you had a legal and moral obligation to us and our country. But you have ignored the will of the people and have plowed ahead with your own personal agenda and ideology.

Americans are capitalists. By undermining our economy, and through your apologetic speeches and attempts at global agreements (climatic and others), you have weaken us as a country. You have embarrassed us on the world stage, increased our threat to attack by weakening our national defense through your poor foreign policy and slip-shod military strategies - and you have dissolved our national treasures through poor economic decisions...and you have also divided us as a nation. The people had expected so much more from you.

Americans strive for success; we like to win! Though you lacked any real administrative experience (except for "community organizing and campaigning), you had convinced the citizens of this country that you had the know-how to govern the most powerful country on earth - and with David Axelrod's skill at manipulating demographics, the majority of the people voted for you. But you have failed at your job. That you have failed may not be your fault, because the people DID vote for you; but for the fact that you professed to have the ability to lead when you clearly DID NOT; and for that, you must take the blame...because you have conscientiously deceived us. Now you have let us down as a people and as a nation.

Americans are not in the business of starting wars...we protect the weak and defend people's freedoms - and we defend ourselves. But we should be in the business of winning our wars if we are engaged with an enemy of this country, especially if they are determined to kill and destroy us. We don't send young men in harm's way to risk their lives for causes that only benefit the oil companies (that would be a much more complicated issue, as oil is the life-blood to our economy, which directly ties in to our military and National Self- Defense). But once our soldiers are placed in other countries overseas, we owe them EVERY resource at our disposal...supplies, protection, and moral support. Mister President, if you can't do that, if you don't believe in the cause, if you don't have the stomach for war, then bring our soldiers home immediately. We must either win a war with overwhelming force, or we shouldn't engage an enemy at all. Period.

Americans don't believe in giving cold-blooded foreign-born murderers American Constitutional Rights (rights that were earned and fought for by American citizens - many who died for those rights), especially in a time of war when these terrorists are captured on foreign soil. And Americans don't believe in a "Worker's Party", and/or giving away half our earnings to "common causes" such as the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Americas don't like being told what to do, we like making decisions for ourselves and our families. Americans just want to work, pay their bills (the ones they acquire on their own), and enjoy their personal freedoms. They don't want to be obligated and ruled through government intervention in every aspect of their lives.

Americans don't believe in taking from the rich and giving to the poor (but rather offering their charity and help willingly). America has given more resources (in time, money, and blood) to other countries than any other country on this planet...unprecedented in all human history. We have NOTHING to be ashamed for. America doesn't want a leader who is ashamed of us, but rather one who is proud of what we represent as a people and a nation...freedom and democracy in the world. We do not want to be forbidden for waving or hanging an American flag if we feel patriotic, or if we remember Ronald Reagan's "beacon of light on the hill."

Americans respect truth and honesty - an open government and an open society - freedom of speech, freedom to associate, and freedom to assemble. Freedom of the press (the Fourth Estate in government) needs be truly free, as watchdogs for the people. Americans don't want the government to control the media and internet (as the Chinese do using censorship), to spread propaganda, dis-information, or indoctrination - these are communist tactics. We want truth! We demand transparency in government (as in the "Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act of 2006" that you helped sponsor, but never honored). We demand honest politicians, not deceitful hypocrites who will say and do anything just to push a personal agenda on the masses against their wishes...and against their steadfast will.

Americans and this country are going broke! We do not want to pay for bank & corporate bailouts, TARP bills, "Cash for Clunkers", stimulus packages, Healthcare bills, Cap and Trade bills, or any other addition burden to our government's deficit. We don't want any more PORK SPENDING: Any special favorable bills or amendments passed by Congress (and/or attached to other unrelated bills or legislation that will raise our taxes) will REQUIRE all members of Congress to read the bills FIRST, and post them for the voting public to see, read, and understand (in plain English please) BEFORE they are voted on. Only then will Congress take the vote to the floor. All votes will be noted and posted for the general public to see (on live TV or a well monitored website).

Americans want more transparency in our financial system - no more backroom deals with large corporate banks, insurance companies, and other financial institutions or corporations. We want well-regulated and honest reform for the SEC and other financial watchdogs, with overseers as well (watchers watching the watchers). We want honesty in business and government. Enough of the scams that large corporations have used to milk us (cell phones lately). Prosecute them if laws are broken. If they don't like it, raise their corporate taxes. If they don't like higher taxes, have them operate out-of-country (but don't permit importing their products.) We want a thorough accounting of all money allocated for government expenses (minus military and intelligence spending for "black budgets") - and all financial entitlements that the members of Congress REQUEST from taxpayers (the ones who will be actually required to fund these expenditures). We want an accounting of ALL tax dollars received by the IRS for the U.S. Treasury, and all outgoing expenses. All income, federal, and excise taxes collected should be accounted for, and all monies collected and deposited with the treasury should be properly accounted for as well. We want a federal audit of the Federal National Reserve every year (we won't mind paying for that expense.) And lastly, we want a freeze on Congress salaries until the average medium income is equal to what the citizens of this country earn (and they should feel lucky we don't demand and immediate cut in their salaries). No more greed and corruption in business and government. No more BIG GOVERNMENT! Less government, less corruption.

Americans are proud and protective of our country. We are concerned with environmental issues and give credence to responsible and thoughtful science in regards to climate change. But we do not want to be bound in chains or held captive to reckless legislation that forges ahead against the wishes of the majority when it comes to energy dependence, or have the imposition of insane legal restrictions on matters of water conservation and wildlife preservation. We have become slaves to the crazy radical eco-terrorists and other far-left ideologies. We want our leaders to use plain common sense when deciding issues that directly affect us in matters of our National Security, our resources, our standard-of-living, and our personal choices (such as what we eat). This has gone far beyond idiotic and ridiculous! Drill for oil and let the farmers in California grow their crops (minus one tadpole). We place the existence and extinction of American humans first, before we do of microcosms. We don't believe Al Gore when says the polar bears are all dying or that the planet will soon become a barren rock. The earth, the climate, and the evolution of life forms have naturally progressed, transformed, and evolved for 4.5 billion years...as a species or our planet, we aren't doomed in any near foreseeable future. And our sun is expected to burn for another 5 billion years.

Americans want to celebrate Christmas - not Marxist atheism. Americans want freedoms, not restrictions. Americans want justice, not ACLU's subversive and restraining litigation. Americans want a true evaluation, not "political correctness". Americans want opportunities, not exported jobs. Americans want pride, not shame. "The totalitarian world produces backwardness because it does such violence to the spirit, thwarting the human impulse to create, to enjoy, to worship." ~ Ronald Reagan

Americans want to be listened to by their leaders, not ignored by their elected representatives. Listen up Mister President! This is a "moderate-middle-to-right-conservative country" who will sometimes sympathize with a few liberal causes when they're deemed fair or unjust - - - America is not a "radical-liberal-far-left-to oblivion" country who wants everything forced upon us or shoved down our throats. We do not want to be unwilling recipients of someone's else's belief's - we think for ourselves.

Americans love their freedom. The average American does not want to be bound and shackled to any international laws or agreements, or ruled by any global and socialistic policies (a Global World Government)...they don't want a standard global currency (we like our dollar) or a European form of society or healthcare. These are things YOU want, and what YOU think are best for us. But the American spirit does not encompass these restrictive, weak, corrupt, and enslaving values...we are not communists Mister President, we are innovative, creative, productive, and willful people...we don't want to live in a totalitarian state. We are Americans, not Marxists.

Americans agree with Ronald Reagan: "In the Communist world, we see failure, technological backwardness, declining standards of health, even want of the most basic kind--too little food. Even today, the Soviet Union still cannot feed itself. After these four decades, then, there stands before the entire world one great and inescapable conclusion: Freedom leads to prosperity. Freedom replaces the ancient hatreds among the nations with comity and peace. Freedom is the victor." ~ Remarks at the Brandenburg Gate, West Berlin, Germany, June 12, 1987

Americans want unity, not divisiveness. You claim to have studied Constitutional law at Harvard, yet you ridiculed the Tea Party for exercising Constitution Rights. You claim "transparency", yet you have hidden your true intentions. You claim that "there are no red states. There are no blue states. We are all one", yet you divide America. Break down the destructive and bipartisan barriers between the Democrats and Republicans, because it's tearing our country apart. You have built this great divide between us...a huge wall. Please Mr. President, "tear down this wall!"

Sincerely Yours,

The Independent Voters
The Average American People
God Bless America
