Despite the current excessive Democratic government spending, the conservatives would do well to stay away from one bill - The Jobs Bill. They should tread VERY lightly with any proposition of eliminating (or reducing in any way) extended unemployment benefits for a VERY good reason.
With real unemployment near 17% and well over 11 million people on state and federal unemployment rolls, many Republicans, conservatives, and Tea Party members might vote for Democrats (no matter how much they're hated) just to keep their benefits. It's called survival!
