"Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano is not fit for position..."
"Not Fit" has been in the headlines and in talking points lately. While it's true, Janet Napolitano isn't fit for the job - it's also most likely that she KNOWS she isn't qualified for the job, but accepted the position anyway. But why? Was it her ego? Her naivety? Or just another notch on her resume at the expense of American lives?
What's equally disturbing is that EVERYONE in the Obama administration is in over their head.
We have a community organizer, a campaign manager, a ballerina, and a slumlord running the most powerful and advanced country in the world. It doesn't get any crazier than that folks!
While I'm almost certain that Ms Napolitano is a "good" person and a loving and caring family member, she has no business running Homeland Security - - - it is a HUGE farce that she was even considered for that job.
Obama was elected because the young people thought he was "cool" compared to the elderly and stodgy McCain. While Democrats may not have agreed with his politics, at least John was QUALIFIED!
Our leaders should be elected according to their ability to run a government, not based on a snazzy web site or FaceBook page...or because they have a damn Blackberry!
The young people should get more involved in politics and become much more informed before they cast their precious vote in such an important election. Look around you, watch the news, peruse a newspaper and read a few books - and don't just listen to your liberal college professor pontificate in class. Ask questions and demand answers. Don't be foolish!
This past year has been a total fiasco...economically, politically, and policy-wise. We have become a laughing stock to the world and our closest allies are aghast at where we are headed. Wake up America!
On top of everything else that the Democrats in Congress and Obama has burdened the people with, isn't foregoing our safety the last straw?
289 people almost got blown out of the sky on Christmas Day. Should these people have died to prove my point?
