World Population: As of this post is 6,802,931,694
...and all these human beings are emitting carbon dioxide every time they exhale (which is good for the forests). Maybe all those idiots in Copenhagen would prefer that all humans stop existing to save the planet! (Stupid me. And all this time I thought it was an asteroid that struck the Yukon peninsula 65 million years ago that made the dinosaurs extinct...not their "carbon footprints".)
The commercial airline industry is spewing more carbon dioxide into the environment than previously estimated and the amount could hit 1.5 billion tons a year by 2025. That’s far more than even the worst-case predictions laid out by the International Panel on Climate Change (compared to the European Union which currently emits 3.1 billion tons of CO2 annually.)
Then we have the space shuttle missions and military maneuvers as well, so where does it stop?
At you car, which produces 2,400 grams of CO2 emissions per gallon of gasoline.

...but yet, even if we all rode bicycles, we'd still have to pay for all the other emissions...from producing electricity to cow farts...and just because we enjoy our everyday conveniences, such as heat and air-conditioning. And the IPCC (the United Nations) wants to penalize Americans the most because we enjoy a better standard-of-living.
Regarding Copenhagen (not Copenhagen ® Smokeless Tobacco - regarding the Climate Summit.)
The New York Times had 2 headlines yesterday:
"Europe Pledges Billions in Climate Funding"
AND
"$7.4 Billion Lost from Carbon Trading Fraud in Europe"
Odd? The Euros are still pledging more money even though they can't control the existing fraud!
Let me touch on the first article first...
European Union leaders agreed to pay $10.5 billion over the next three years to help poor countries begin tackling the effects of global warming. (I ask: Just exactly what are these "effects"; and what scientific data do they use to determine "global warming?")
By comparison, the developing world (poorer countries) are also seeking a commitment from industrial powers (The United States) to provide long-term financing of more than $100 billion each year by the end of the next decade. (WTF!)
The "Copenhagen Hypocrites" (limos and private jets) called for wealthier nations (mainly the United States) to commit themselves to sharp reductions in greenhouse-gas emissions in the next decade, and for all nations (mostly the United States) to seek jointly to nearly eliminate the emissions by 2050.
THIS IS ALWAYS BEING REPEATED:
The money is meant to help poor nations adapt to the effects of climate change (I ask: What natural climate change? What kind of effects? And what type of adoptions?) and develop their economies in ways that will help limit emissions of carbon dioxide. (I say: Poor countries don't leave large "carbon footprints" like China does due to lack of industry, so why do they need more money to help develop their economies to produce less emissions by using money taken from the pockets of people in the United States?)
One thing is very clear...
...they want the United States to change the way we produce and consume energy...they want to force us to give more money to poorer countries - far more than we already do by our American compassion. Talk about ungrateful! Now they want us to enter into an international agreement to lower the average American citizen's standard-of-living by "spreading America's wealth around."
Oh my god! Centuries of rising seas in a warming world! Help us Mister Gore!
In Copenhagen, some of the smallest island states claim they are the most vulnerable countries facing the prospect of centuries of rising seas in a warming world. (Rising seas would effect everyone, our shores from New York to Miami, and from Seattle to San Diego would be equally effected, not just those poor "vulnerable" islands such as Cuba and Honduras, etc. Those islands are on moving tectonic plates and are going to eventually be melted into earth's mantle anyway. If this ever happens, they could build a damn canoe and paddle to America!).
Those same "vulnerable" island states fired off a warning shot in the form of a new draft text of their own. They called for the proposed ceiling for a rise in global temperature accepted by most nations to be lowered by 0.5 degrees Celsius. (Those tiny island states fired off a warning shot and made demands? And if the United States does not meet these demands - an attempt at extortion - then what? Especially if the oceans rise and wash them away?).
THEY DEMANDED!
Money is central to the demands by poor nations. Most African countries and small island states have demanded aid as a condition for signing a new pact to replace the 1997 Kyoto Protocol, which expires in 2012.
Should the U.S. be blackmailed, forced, tricked, or be made to feel guilty by a Socialist Europe, to give money to help lift up the standard of living in poorer countries at the expense of our own? And in the middle of a economic depression? And with the track record of the United Nations and the corruption and mis-management of funds, why would the American people want to throw away more good money after bad? And under the lies and false pretenses of global warming? Do the Europeans and those tiny island nations think ALL Americans are a bunch of stupid left-wing liberals?
I don't want to give any more of my hard-earned money to the disrespectful and fear-mongering beggars...
The world’s industrialized countries and emerging economic powers have pledged over the past year to work to limit warming to less than 2 degrees Celsius above where temperatures stood in the 1800s. That translates roughly into a rise of no more than 1.3 degrees Fahrenheit from today’s average global temperature of about 59 degrees. But given projections for greenhouse gas emissions and what is known about how the gases trap heat, even that target will be tough to reach, many climate scientists say.
The second article:
$7.4 Billion Lost from Carbon Trading Fraud in Europe
Of course there is going to be theft, waste, and fraud...there always is!
The European Union's "Carbon Market" has been criticized for volatility and for rewarding some of the largest utilities with windfall profits. In Europe, there are six trading platforms, in Britain, Norway, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands and France. Keep America off this list! The European Union’s cap-and-trade carbon market, created to reduce climate-changing emissions, is worth about $132 billion a year.
Corruption and misallocation of funds in these international endeavors is commonplace...always enriching people like Al Gore at the expense of ordinary people like you and me.
